Duce is a small town situated between Split and Omis. Of Omis are located just 3 km from Split and 25 km. There are around 2 000 inhabitants, which is mainly engaged in catering and tuizmom. In the past, Duce had belonged to the famous Poljice republic. On the hill above Stomorica Duca is the Church of Our Lady of Snjiga in which every 5th year August pilgrimage to many locals and guests. Today Duce tourist destination with many possibilities of accommodation in private apartments and rooms. Certainly the greatest asset of this small town are the beautiful sandy beaches, ideal for families with small children. Weekends are one of the most numerous beaches Split.
