Murter Island is the largest and closest island to the mainland of Šibenik area, separated from the mainland by narrow Murter channel, which is in Tisno built-bridge length of 12 meters. An asphalt road (6 km) is linked to the Adriatic tourist road, and from Šibenik it is located 29 km.
